GameCRIT

Project Objectives and Context

GameCRIT is an international educational project implemented under the Erasmus+ program (School Education), aiming to develop critical thinking in high school students through the use of digital games and interactive educational tools.

The project addresses the needs of modern schools and the young generation, which operate in a dynamic information environment, require conscious decision-making, and face the challenges of digital reality. By combining education with innovation, GameCRIT supports teachers in creating engaging teaching methods and students in developing reflective, responsible, and logical thinking.

Project Results

Within the GameCRIT project, practical tools and resources are being developed to support teachers and students in developing critical thinking:

• Methodology and teaching materials that combine gamification with the development of analytical and reflective skills, covering current social and technological topics such as artificial intelligence, misinformation, diversity, social inclusion, and sustainable development.
• An intuitive, free online application enabling the creation and use of educational games focused on critical thinking both in the classroom and in remote environments.

The results are designed to be easy to use in everyday school work and to support a modern, engaging approach to teaching.

Target Groups

The GameCRIT project targets:

• teachers and educators who want to develop students’ critical thinking skills, work with current social issues, and enhance youth’s digital competencies;
• students aged 12–14, for whom this is a crucial stage for shaping reflectiveness, independent thinking, and conscious decision-making;
• schools and educational institutions seeking innovative working methods, modern digital tools, and materials supporting the teaching of essential 21st-century skills.
